v1.8.0

A guided way to respond to prompts, personal campaigns you can build yourself, and a smoother first week on Opine.

New

  • Responding to a prompt is now a guided four-step flow: respond, add media, edit, then schedule or publish.
  • Build your own personal campaigns with a four-step builder that saves your progress as you go.
  • Smart Campaigns are back as a guided option in the campaign builder.
  • Your dashboard shows an onboarding checklist, so you can see what is left to set up.
  • Tell us whether a generated draft is a solid start. Your answers help us improve future drafts.

Improved

  • Your identity profile is built as soon as you finish onboarding, so your very first drafts already sound like you.
  • You can delete your own drafts, and scheduling defaults to your time zone.
  • Organization campaigns are labeled with the organization’s name.
  • Choosing a video and recording with your camera work in mobile browsers, and MOV files appear in the upload picker on macOS.
  • After publishing to TikTok, a View post link takes you straight to your post.

Fixed

  • Photos and recordings interrupted by a page reload are recovered instead of lost.
  • When a post fails to publish, including a scheduled one, Opine tells you why.
  • Dialogs fit on phone screens, so their buttons stay within reach.
  • Moving between Edit and Publish no longer shows an error screen during a brief connection drop.

Security

  • We published a vulnerability disclosure policy and a security.txt file, so researchers know how to report issues to us.
